Bishop California
By now, Bishop has become our home away from home, as we visit the area every few months a year. It’s only a four our drive from where we live, and we have some very close friends who moved there, making it the ultimate getaway for us! There’s always something new to do, trails to hike, places to offroad. It is our happy place! If you have seen our video with Porsche, you’ll definitely recognize some of these spots!
We typically stay in the area for several days and spend time with our friends, or sometimes even venturing out solo, hiking, biking, and off-roading. Day one, we went for a bike ride off Bir Rd, then hit up our favorite sandwich shop, Great Basin Bakery, for lunch! Highly recommend their Mt Tom Sandwich!
Day two we went for a hike near Parchers Resort. Dan was happy to find out that the particular trail we hiked, was named after him. *Just kidding
Day three, we ventured out to scope out some areas we had never been before, and even some plots of land for sale. Who knows, maybe someday soon we’ll buy a little slice of heaven here. We’ve always dreamed of building an off the grid modular vacation home!
