Hey there! Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and learn more about us! I truly hope we inspire others to incorporate adventure and the outdoors into their lifestyles more often. Now, here’s a little about who I am and how I got here.

My name is Dimitra Dorbacopoulos, but friends and family call me “Dimi.” I am a Greek-American born and raised in Los Angeles, where I grew up racing vintage sports cars, riding horses, playing soccer, and camping every summer with family. After high school, I moved to Greece to play soccer professionally while attending university in Athens. Two years later, I returned to Los Angeles, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. For a decade and a half, I was your typical nine-to-five employee, working in “Corporate America,” but during the pandemic, life changed dramatically for me.

In September of 2020, during a sunset bike ride with Dan, I made a life-changing mistake. I crashed my bike, breaking both of my elbows simultaneously. I was 100% dependent on Dan and my sister for everything for months. It was a humbling and extremely difficult situation, which set in motion a shift in perspective on what I value in life and how I want to live.

In March of 2021, while still recovering, Dan and I decided it would be good for me to get out of the house and into nature. By then, I was able to walk, lift lightweight objects, and feel more like myself. So, we drove from Los Angeles to the Redwoods and spent two weeks exploring different national and state parks. That journey began a two-year adventure of consistently taking restorative road trips into nature, which I believe helped me fully recover physically and emotionally.

At the beginning of 2023, I merged my professional life with my passions for adventure and nature by creating my own design consulting company. It has been one of the most inspiring and rewarding times of my life. This lifestyle is essential to who I am, not only as a person but as a creative individual. I am excited to help others realize they can be the best version of themselves despite the challenges in front of them!
