About Dan

“A roadtrip is a chance to unwind, let your mind wander, and be free of any schedules.” - Dan Green

First and foremost, thank you for visiting our page and getting to know a little more about us. My name is Dan, though friends often call me “Danimal,” a nickname earned during my professional hockey days. Born in England and raised around the world, I ultimately graduated high school in Germany. At the age of 17, I signed a professional soccer contract with a first-division Bundesliga team, marking the beginning of my career in athletics. My journey took me from professional soccer to professional hockey in Germany, and eventually to motorsports, where I raced for prestigious brands like Yamaha, Ducati, and KTM.

In 2004, I moved to the United States and retired from KTM in 2005. After sustaining several injuries, I transitioned to the corporate world, working for various companies such as Ducati, Ritte, and Cake. In 2019, I left the corporate world to pursue a career in consulting for various media outlets and collaborating with a non-profit organization called The Vintagent Lab.

Over the years, I’ve learned to slow down and enjoy quality time with family and friends. With a keen interest in engineering and aviation, I discovered that the first-generation Cayenne would be perfectly suited to our lifestyle. I take pride in maintaining the car, ensuring we never miss a beat out on the road.
